No dia 10 de dezembro desse ano foi ao ar a premiação dos melhores de 2011 pela Video Game Awards que, em sua nona edição, contou com tapete vermelho, fotógrafos e jornalistas.
Hospedada pela Spike TV e produzidas pela GameTrailers TV, o evento desde 2003 na California e em Las Vegas, quando ainda não se falava muito em premiar jogos.
Este ano os páreos foram disputados bit a bit. Marcando presença estavam The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, Mass Effect 3… Mas o que me chamou mesmo a a tenção foi um jogo independente e de download gratuito chamado Bastion, vale a pena conferir.
