Grammy 2023: Harry Styles vence, Anitta perde e Beyoncé quebra recorde

A cerimônia do Grammy 2023, que aconteceu domingo (5) em Los Angeles, foi palco de um momento histórico que já era previsto, Beyoncé se tornando a pessoa que mais ganhou gramofones de ouro. As vitórias da noite pelo álbum “Renaissance” somaram 32 vitórias em sua carreira.

A festa só não foi mais brilhante porque a diva pop perdeu justamente as categorias principais como álbum do ano, vencida por Harry Styles, gravação do ano, que consagrou Lizzo (‘About Damn Time’), e música do ano, que premiou Bonnie Raitt por ‘Just Like That’.

Queen Bey levou os prêmios nas categorias melhor gravação dance/eletrônica, pela música ‘Break my Soul’, melhor performance de R&B tradicional, por ‘Plastic Off the Sofa’, melhor música de R&B, por ‘Cuff It’, e melhor álbum de dance/eletrônica, por “Renaissance”

A brasileira Anitta foi derrotada na categoria a que estava concorrendo, artista revelação. A carioca perdeu para Samara Joy, que também venceu em melhor álbum vocal de jazz, por “Linger Awhile”.

Kim Petras se tornou a primeira trans a vencer um Grammy por sua música “Unholy”, parceria com Sam Smith.

No palco houve uma belíssima homenagem à Motown com Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson e Chris Stapleton, celebração dos 50 anos do RAP e no momento in memorian, que homenageia os artistas que faleceram no ano, o tremendão Erasmo Carlos e Gal Costa foram lembrados junto com David Crosby, Takeoff, Jeff Beck, entre outros.
