Chamada simplesmente de Blues, coleção traz o guitarrista irlandês em outtakes e gravações ao vivo inéditas

O blues é um ritmo que deu ao mundo guitarristas como Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Albert King, B.B. King e Jimi Hendrix, só para citar alguns. Dentre os grandes estava o irlandês Rory Gallagher (1948-1995).

Apesar de ter vendido milhões de discos e de ter se apresentado em várias partes do planeta, Gallagher é praticamente um desconhecido para o grande público. E olha que certa vez perguntaram para Hendrix: “Qual a sensação de ser o melhor guitarrista do mundo?” A resposta foi seca: “Eu não sei. Pergunte ao Rory Gallagher”.

Blues

Agora, em 31 de maio, chega ao mercado (lá fora) a coletânea Blues, que reúne dezenas de faixas inéditas, entre outtakes de seus vários discos solo e gravações ao vivo. O aperitivo — ‘Nothin’ But The Devil’ (faixa não lançada do álbum “Against The Grain album” (1975) — é delicioso.

Pela tracklist divulgada pela Universal Music (lá fora), a carreira solo do músico (1971-1994.) vai ficar muito mais rica do que já é. Normalmente as gravações ao vivo de Rory são explosivas e não há porquê achar que essa nova safra será diferente.

Também serão lançadas versões em CD simples e LP duplo, mas fique com o CD triplo, que vem com as faixas onde encontramos gente do calibre de Muddy Waters, Albert King, Jack Bruce, Lonnie Donegan e Chris Barber.
